Removing steering column 

If you are going to do the installation without removing the trim pieces (not recommend but possible). At least remove the top of the steering column. This way you get better acces to the sides of the panels.

1: Unscrew the bottom.

2: Use the plastic tool to pry the panels apart.

3: Loosen the top piece.

4: Pull the panel towards you and place it upwards (out of the way).

5: If necessary, you can also detach the bottom panel.

6: Turn the steering wheel until you can reach the 2 screws (left and right).

TIP: Putting the steering wheel in a different position can give you more work space.

Installation Mirror Trim

Difficulty level 4/10

You can easily remove the mirror covers from the car by pulling them towards you by hand or with a trim tool.

Degrease the surface before you start the installation!!

1. There is approximately 6mm overlap around the panel, so you can wrap the edges.
2. Remove the protective film.
3. Try to keep the edge as parallel as possible at about 6mm.
4. Continue rolling the piece onto the foil.
5.  Now push the foil into the curve (without tension).
7. Cut the corners as shown. 

Fold the wrap around the corners. 

Install the trim.

Rear Door Trim installation

Tailgate Trim installation

Difficulty level 3,5/10

1. Start with the wrap upside-down, then simply remove the backing paper slowly while making sure the wrap stays in position.
2. Make sure the cutouts match the correct side of the panel, and that the panel is thoroughly degreased.
3. Line up the edges so you have about 8mm on each side and press down firmly
4. Once the wrap is tacked on the panel, flip it and ise your hand to release possible air bubbles 
5. Work your way around the edges until everything is tucked away nicely.

Door Inlay installation

Difficulty level 10/10

UPDATE: They now come in 1 piece and are slightly oversized on both the inside & outside so you can cut the excess with the provided scalpel. This is less time consuming and gives better results. Starting point remains the same, only now you have a 10mm overlap on the inside.

• Interior cleaners are NOT for prepping the surface. Use alcohol based surface cleaners instead.
• Extra adhesive is strongly advised. (Pattex spreading glue)

• Do NOT let the material stick to itself !!!

Rear doors starting point.

Armrest Inlay installation 

Difficulty level 2/10

1. Fold about 2-3cm from the backing paper and line up the corners.
2. Remove the backing paper completely and lay down the rest of the wrap.

Gear Surround installation

Difficulty level 6,5/10

1. First install the top piece as shown.
2. The side pieces line up against the edge of the top piece. Start with the wide part and work your way down to the small edges. 

Tip: use extra ahesive on the inside corners of the loading dock

Alcantara Gear Gaiter (manual)

To remove the gearknob, simply grab it firmly and pull it straight up, in neutral position.

(the reverse lever ring is a seperate piece, which is attached to the leather, but it's okay to pull on the ring aswell)

Then remove all the surrounding gear trim, use a plastic tool to pop it straight up & out of the clips

Pull out the entire trim by lifting up the side closest to you first, then pull back and upwards.

Disconnect the cables by pressing the tab and pulling.

Now you have easy acces to remove the plastic ring at the bottom of the leather, release the clips by using a prying tool or flathead screwdriver while pulling on the leather (creating tension so the clips don't pop back in)

Once that's out, remove the staples with pliers before pulling of the leather from the plastic ring. The leather is glued, but easy to remove.

To remove the metal ring, flip the Leather inside out. There are 2 clips you need to undo, use flathead screwdriver(s) to do so. Pull apart the pieces.

Now you can remove the leather from the ring. (Remember how it was attached, so you can install it exactly the same with the new Alcantara gaiter)

Retrace these steps for the installation. You can use Glue or double sided tape to mount the Alcantara gaiter.
